Chairman’s Speech
"Hello, now that's mildly amazing, rather"
Mused the chairman of the board
Gazing, bored but vaguely troubled
Under his pinkly polished cranium
Through the boardroom, double glazing
Paused in his morning chores
Of watering the tropic flora
On the floor below the window
Hello, who's that fellow down below?
Strange way of behaving
Peered out across the concrete paving
Over the creaking stalks and crimson corms
Of the Amazonian rhubarb
Waving over the saturated packet poly peat
Imported from Connemara
But sterilized, of course
My God, who is that man?
His back towards us, must bе raving
