Devoid of All Life Incarnate

It’s time to break in
These black walls that surround me
There’s nothing else here
Nothing to confine me
Yet I feel confined
Confined to my senses
I wanted to live

Life taken far too soon
The arrogance of my world’s womb
Once sought for receding end
Now trapped in black

Air made of raw absence
I should have just seen
Taken it on credence
But I was so blind
So blinded by my greed I
Took my own life
Far beyond its reaches

Immortal now but not alive
