Everybody's pointing
At the man up on the tightrope
Cheering, while they hope that he will fall
Some think that he's funny

Fact is that his courage shames us all

I've heard it said
That truth cuts like a sword

But it cannot be ignored

He was one of the dying breed

The crowd was getting louder
Circling the stranger
They're acting like the freak show was in town
