I re-wrote the verse
In a different way and it was good but
It just didn’t have that thing and so we
Flipped it and put the rap back in

And did something else and that was good
But it just didn’t… It didn’t tell the story
That needed to be told and so
And really and truly it was just like

"I don’t wanna like
Rehash this old shit" but then
It’s like that’s when
Some of the best music is, you know, that’s

Is written is when

Does really paint me in the best picture, you
Know it definitely shows me as the scumbag
