Good Lady

Every Sunday as I step into the holy house of God
I find a flickering fire deep inside my belly
As the choir sings I know my fate and how I urge the coming date

And may no harm come to them
And may the bears and foxes sneak right past my chicken pen

Though I sometimes fear the beast will find me
