Waiting and watching
And listening to the waves
The words and boundaries
And self-help programs seem to fade
When I'm here the sounds
And the sights and the atmosphere
Remind me of someone I've met before
And long to see again

This is the peace
That the ocean brings
Where I feel like dreams are so real
There is such a place as Heaven
Until I go, I'll just come here

Why is it the sand
And salt make me think
Of your smile
There must be some connection there
But I'm not sure
All I know is that when I come here
I'm lost for words and feel
