Heaven to Earth

I was bitter because I was in pain
From headaches and heartaches
I thought that God wanted me to suffer
But I was misled by my fallen thoughts
I was lied to by my broken wants
No way my Father would want hurt for His daughter
God is not the giver of pain
He does not delight in shame
Because if Jesus really came
The punishment is over in Jesus' name
If God is active so is the devil
We gotta wake up and fight the battle
Because He
Wants us to be free
I am grateful God didn't leave me here
In my sin and guilt and shame
I'm a new creation
I have a new name
I am grateful that God redeems pain
I am grateful to have my dreams changed
Cuz now I'm a daughter who trusts her Father
I lost my life but I found treasure
It hurt to let go but I found something better
I doubted, but His promises last forever
I used to blame God for why
We all suffer and cry
But I couldn't see the full story
It's a fallen world and we are fallen people
But there's a mighty God
Who reigns over evil

With His river of redemption
Doing what we never could

Depression is gone

I was covered in loneliness
I just couldn't see
The healing right here available to me

It got real hard to keep on believing
But only God could heal me
Now my testimony is God is Good and
He is restoring
He's redeeming
