You have found me off the grid
I tremble as the ground collects and meager fists shake
Fists hesitate because of the cold you give off
You live off
The ambiance you give off mesmerizes me
Over time you’ve learned to give off warmth
And that warmth inspires and touches its captive
The dew collects and so do your tear stains
But darling they’ll disappear with my reign
You have brought me off the grid
You have brought me out to gaze at a melty gradient of light
I drown, but into a beautiful pond where my doubts have escaped
The ghosts under the table dissipate
Your words, your words turn into a warmth so distinct
Come to me in the night and bring me the bottle
