Old Mind
Once in a while I wish that I would brave your cold
And just take hold of your hand
But my hands are tied and cold as well
I dwell in my old mind
I raise the dust
I haunt behind the creaky walls
Beware and don't get lost
More and more I speak for you
And clean my dusty mind for you
When I walk out in the sun
I see the phantoms are all gone
Old minds sometimes forget and faint
Like chalk arrows on rainy days
The pavement's clear, direction's new
And nothing old to hold on to
