Whiplash

Got whiplash from this year
Cannot believe that I'm here
If I think about it it's weird
Many of my plans disappeared
Path crumbled beneath my feet
No calmness no stability
Felt like my life was a mess
So lost and directionless
Year was tough but a blessing in disguise
First time I've lived life with open eyes
Inside of me a lot has changed
Old friends wouldn't recognize me today
People are close my mind is far
I can't look back yeah it's too hard
Gone through this all on my own
So most I meet don't even know

We're back most seem ok
