A Little Bit Closer
She had a strange face
Riding in the front seat of my car
Her silence was so strong
Questions kept bouncing, off her wall
A thought passes my lips
I kept it to myself
Then she open her silence, tears started crying
Sign said, something wrong
'she said' i'm crying for a change
Tired of this old place
We gotta get away
This place ain't right for me
Lay your head on my shoulder
Come a little bit closer
Let's sleep on it tonight
Early the next day, i search on search
But she was no where to be found
I called on called on called
Well nobody answer
I couldn't think straight
She made me a promise
And her words, just kept ringing
Loud and clear in my head
Told me she really needed a change
Sick of this old place
She had to get away
Guess she left without me
We came a little bit closer, we talked it over
We slept on our last night
She came a little bit closer, a little bit closer
The she left late in the night
Huh! huh! huh! huh!
