She desperately wanted to feel the undertow, the freshness of water
Her element was air
Was universe and universal
Her magic lied under her tongue in the depths of the somewhere afterparty
Somewhere between love and destruction
Reality is not what the books borrow as truth
Even when society says she is invisible
She knows the sun-moon-star trilogy don't work without her kiss
Like queendom come, Love was determined to be heard
She was already in the blink of his eye
The leap most would fear
Their bodies suspended, watching us from an indifferent cloud
Together, they watched the stars give birth to the next song
She loved the way he played
The way he touched her with notes
A monologue for the forgotten alive in his fingers
He kissed the moon of her memory
How they swept the bottom of the seas with the seeds of the future
How their stillness shifted the western man
She carried centuries of evolution in the bend of her spine
Just a small taste of her energy an active solar system
Reminded the next ones of who they were becoming
Even if the world erased their names from the ancient text
