I have an urge, immensely intense
I’m on the verge of jumping the fence
Although the leap
To begin with is cheap
Consequences come at my expense

Some say the grass grows greener on the other side
They only desire
What they can’t acquire

My neighbor’s garden is like paradise
My own backyard’s not nearly as nice
I lose my pride
