i say "i'm fine."
i just say that i still feel like, oh, you're with me
they smile, i speak
they don't know what i got waitin' when i get home
it's such a shame
and every time i hear the doorbell ring itself, i get so excited yeah!

i feel numb as i sprawl my body across my bed
the shades are closed
half-asleep and half-scared to death, you know i hate ghosts
