My country heart
Is leavin' town

I miss the things that I used to enjoy
When I was a simple country boy

I'm goin' back to the cabbage fields
To fill my bucket up with snails
It's nice to feel the soil between my toes

And when I get home
I'll empty all the snails onto my front lawn
And sort them out into neat little rows
