I am the one who watches
Meaning escapes my one-track mind
Survival is all that matters
Growls from the stomachs
Growls from the mouths
Our rituals are what keep us alive
I refuse to die out like the rest of my kind

I move towards the thing that would forge my uncertain future
One by one

It takes hold

I can see the future is my hands

Watching, waiting for my meaning to reveal itself
