The Tidal Wave
THE TIDAL WAVE
From the fury, the fray, chaos over the waves
Underneath only silence and the reef bed, threads of sunlight erased
Hallowed trenches and caves, through capillaries, timelessly release fed
From the fear and the spray to the coral ballet
In a deep water, shark infested recess there's a crypt of decay
In this ocean of graves where the sea is both harbinger and priestess
Pray now, crushed and torn as we clave now to the wake of the wave now.
The monumental awe inspired reflect a boned mosaic, throned empire
The dark satanic ocean, Neptune's watery grave, the perfect storm, the rock guns fire
Amid the turbid ebb and flow, this choir of violence, even silence has to brave
The tidal wave
Of cathedrals and bones ground by sea pitted stones
In the white crested waters of salvation clustered manacle foam
Makes the sinner atone on the mantles of god and his creation
Some escape from the womb to this deep-water tomb
Benediction and barnacled believers elemental, consumed
By the temple of doom this affliction of oracle deceivers
Pray now, crushed and torn as we clave now to the wake of the wave now.
The monumental awe inspired reflect a boned mosaic, throned empire
The dark satanic ocean, Neptune's watery grave, the perfect storm, the rock guns fire
Amid the turbid ebb and flow, this choir of violence, even silence has to brave
The tidal wave
