Glimpse of the Dawn
eternal hunger
for the secrets kept in stone
to see what lies beyond
the brambles overgrown
will we ever know?
often we wonder
what the watcher has in store
some say he walks among us
disguised in hood and cloak
yearning for
the wealth of a distant shore
seeking lands
fertile and devoid of snow
and we are fearful
of the sly one's wicked plan
his whispers echo
in the evil deeds of man
will he rule again?
