Lets take it back to 93
Just me and mama at the shelter she ain't been allowed home in like 4 or 5 weeks
All because she had me fast forward wait I gotta take you back to 96
I was sitting at the window seal waiting for my pops said he be here round 6
Most the time he never showed but you probably guessed so lemme take you back to 99
Eviction notice and a famine and that happened way before I even got to turn 9
For a while couple cans of peanut butter was the only thing we had up in the crib
That's because the church donated them but had they not I don't know how we would have lived
Already felt like I was dying as we waited in line up in hra
Hoping for this thing known as section 8
Never would have guessed it will play out great
Cause now its vip and my whole section late get the twist
See my stock tend to escalate
Especially when times get desperate resonate
Need this money like yesterday
