Pillars Erode
Forget the broken, as the flies surround the field
Solitary puppets on broken string
They've hung all the ropes and tied every knot
And whisper in your ear
Just one more step
Halos and nooses drag behind every soul
The cracks underfoot become coffin holes
They will be forever scorned
The skies will turn black, and come the day I was born
I avow
The steeples collapse and the pillars erode
Your kingdoms tumble like stone dominoes
Before they sharpen their teeth on razors and knives
They were not wolves but sheep
