A Poet’s Curse

I'm losing sleep
Writing another story
Someone save me
It's addicting
It's something
Snowball effect
Unstoppable
What do I do?
Escaping sleep
Painfully deep
What do I do?
A poet's curse
It's bewitching
Watching my pen flow endlessly
Someone come help me
I can't stop myself
It's something that I can't help
It's addicting
It's terrifying
But I love it - I still must stop it
I'm losing sleep and I'm in too deep
This is a poets curse
It feels so much worse - but I adore it
I'm making something of it
