Human Doormat
I've been kind to everyone I've met that shouldn't make me an easy target
I always gave respect fully knowing I wouldn't get any in return
I always tend to give myself away there's no limit on how much you will take
How many times must I learn every inch cost's me a mile
I've gone out of my way to help those I thought I could trust
But they wouldn't piss on me if I was burning alive
I've been walked over so many times
I've got to stand up for myself
Don't wipe your dirt onto me man
I'm not your human doormat
Everyday my conviction gets stronger a solution dangles in my sights
What will it take to make you see what you do isn't right
It doesn't matter what you've went through everyone has to deal with their own problems
That doesn't give you an excuse to mistreat everyone around you
No one needs to suffer with you just leave me alone
Don't drag me down with you I can't break your heart of stone
You can't taste your own bitterness and you must be blind to your own hate
Every condescending word from your mouth is more than i can take
I've been walked over so many times
I've got to stand up for myself
Don't wipe your dirt onto me man
I'm not your human doormat
I'm tired of being used
I'm tired of being abused
I'm tired of being under your shoe
I can't take anymore
It's ripping at my core
I'm going to pick myself up and settle the score
I'm getting off the ground
I'm going to beat you down
I'm going to lift my foot and pound
I've been walked over so many times
I've got to stand up for myself
Don't wipe your dirt onto me man
I'm not your human doormat
We've all been walked on so many times
It's time we stand up and fight
Go clean up your own mess man
I'm not your human doormat
