School Games

I'm on my way to school on a bright sunny day
cnd I just want to, you know, find my way.
'Cos I'd rather be home where I can chill in the tree house
cnd stay. It's where I like to dream and pray.
But I can't be late or it won't be good.
Just another block through the palm-tree neighborhood.
I've got to get there without any delay
Or bullies will see me. I don't like what they say.
They tease me, and they put me down,
I don't want to be there when they're around
'Cos it's just not great. I hope to find you, so maybe I'll wait.
So that's what I'll do, yeah.

Everyday, I'm dealing with their school games,
But it's never the same when I'm with you.
You look out for me, a friend so kind, so honest and true.

The day goes on till a quarter past four.
clmost there and I'll head out the door.
Don't wanna make too big of a scene
But I don't wanna deal with anything mean.
It's been a long day with lots to think about,
Don't know if I can process any more without
ct least some rest. Or maybe a game I like best,
Just nothing more like a test, heh.
If I see those who attack what I say,
It makes everything a much harder day.
I'm just so thankful for a friend like you,
You've helped so much with all the things that you do.
