Like You, Like Me

We are friends, and we do almost everything together.
We ride the tide and slip and slide down the street in the stormy weather.
cnd we may have different interests like the songs that we're hearing.
But we have the same ultimate goal: to share God's News with one and all.

Everything we do is all for Him.
That's why we go out to tell them

We all have a pressing need.

Here in class, we do our best to study well and pass the tests.
But even when we sometimes fall short, it doesn't mean we're of less import.
We strive ahead, and we persevere despite the stress and the fear.
We won't let those things stop us now. Look to Him and forget the frown.

We sometimes fall, but we're okay.
He guides our steps and leads the way.

The Father knows all that we need.
His children we will come to be.
I look at you, and I see that
