Christmas lights surround the night it's almost Christmas eve
I can't believe I had the thought much better to receive
My stocking hung my spirits high no mask for Halloween
No shopping malls no friends to call the Grinch she sure is mean

Get out my way don't touch my sleigh
The reindeer bite been out all night

So fraught with fright this Christmas night puts Halloween to shame
This giant red man with claws and fangs Santa was his name
Tip tap I hear the rap outside my window pane
It's Santa's friends still on the mend when will this nightmare end?
