Arrogance and Ignorance

Pride and fall, is in us all
The patriot is playing god

All those years we lost, they passed us by
and we never tried to find a way to save the day.
Can´t you see this is reality,
don´t you know that this is not a game to start again?

All that we can do in this act
is play the starring role and let it go.

Lies are falling from a blood red sky,
we are going down in arrogance and ignorance.
Dying cities, no one there to cry,
our ruin will be arrogance and ignorance.

We´re suffering to serve a king
all hate and war against us all

See that young man there, his head in hands,
while the fire takes his home and kills his family.
His last choice is which way he will die,
he remembers all the signs that he ignored to see.

All that he can do at last
is realize - perception comes too late.
