Well, every time in the morning
When I brush my wisdom teeth
And somehow the object slips
It forces my big tongue
To block my breathing
And I gag and heave and choke
And then I see stars
Every time I stop
What I am doing
And I turn the TV set on
Well, everybody tortures me
With fame and fortune
Bad entertainment breaks rules
Why do I see stars?
They don't see me
I see stars
Little flashes of light in my brain
They don't see me
Every time a magazine
Hits newsstands
There's somebody on the cover that you know
They never put a poor man
With bad teeth on it
They never give nobody a chance
To become movie stars
