Dear Lyme, I've been meaning to write to you
I haven't had the time because of what you do
The energy I used to have you took it all away
And filled everything waking hour with your unbearable pain
I used to wake up every morning ready to take the day
But now I wake up every morning wanting to just lay there
I never thought it'd be so hard to do the little things
You've drained me of everything
I feel I have nothing
Dear Lyme, do you realize what you have done
You've gone and ripped out the heart of someone
Who only wanted to make people laugh and smile
But after what you've put her through she barely goes outside
She used to wake up every morning ready to take the day
But now she wakes up every morning wanting to just lay there
She never thought it'd be so hard to do the little things
You've drained her of everything
She feels she has nothing
Dear Lyme, do you know how many people's lives
You've ruined because of the pain you prescribe
Some of their doctors don't even believe them
Because you're so good at deceiving them
