Eternal Light
Summer
Swallows and amazons
Fishing Huck Finn pebbles and ripples
And sunflowers get coffee, I’ve been up for hours
Up with the lark for the best waves
Don’t want to miss the first daylight hour
Turn off that TV set and read a book instead
Read about the world and the universe
Don’t fill your snowflake head
With how beautiful am I
Looking out in shades of grey looking on the inside out
Dreaming all her life away
Never realized that doubt…
Here she sits eternally blowing at dandelions
Feel the night look up to the sky the belt of Orion…
And I realize that something has been kept from our hand
A question of your path, part of some hidden bigger plan
You can try to tell the world…
But the world won’t understand…
Search for your hidden light…!
Oh my eternal light…!
Never a day goes by…!
And I realize that something has been kept from our hand
A question of your path, part of some hidden bigger plan
You can try to tell the world…
But the world won’t understand…
Search for your hidden light…!
Oh my eternal light…!
Never a day goes by…!
