At Sunrise

I think I lost the light
Like a star that’s gone at sunrise
With the sun against my skin
I get tired now and then

Like a seabird in the night
Floating on reflected sky
When you’re going with the wind
It’s easier to fly

I can feel it on me now
It hurts to draw the poison out
This vivid fever dream
