The Observatory
Arrival
An alien landscape
No false lights for miles
Nature owns this land
All I see are mountains
On a travel to mend my life
Off on the horizon
From where the eagles fly
Hiking through the brush
I come to a clearing
A view of unspeakable truth
Realization that city life is poisonous
I need but one glance
To see the message
In the distance is the observatory
Harvester of images
From the source of conscious existence
The setting sun floods the sky
There is no hope
Of ever going back
I hereby claim my home
Forever
