Eternal Thirst
The cactus danced and the moonlight screamed
Star speckled light around a sharp moonbeam
The sand like a crust baked in heavens pie
Jellin' tumbleweeds all around and swayin' by
Off in the night soared a sleek black bird
Searchin' out the sounds of the mice he'd heard
Food for flight, just what he'd need
It's the law of nature, it's life's sproutin' seed
Poison gas streamin' from a nearby stack
One way to bring an end to an iceblood fact
Think of all the souls doin' time instead of life
Why not lend your thoughts to moonbeamed nights
Bad brings worse, it's called eternal thirst
Bad brings worse, it's called eternal thirst
Why not think of cactus swayin' in the breeze
Sort of like a dreamin' sleepin' antelope breathes
Good thought begets good, and bad even worse
Why should you die of eternal thirst
The cactus danced and the moonlight screamed
Star speckled light around a sharp moonbeam
The sand like a crust baked in heavens pie
Jellin' tumbleweeds all around and swayin' by
Eternal thirst
Let's not die of eternal thirst
