But to the sounds of the city in which I was born
Trams, cars, buses, the sound of the horn
Not only in the eve but in the early morn'
It’s a literal sound occupation
A post-modern creation
Paying tribute to the vibes of our civilisation's
Monotonous search for fulfilment
Monogamously clinging to what we’re calling achievement
So we keep on diggin’ and drillin’, virtually killing
All the left-over sounds of the world that we live in
To exchange ‘em for our own - KABOOM!
You gotta be born in the city to be tone-deaf, come on!!!
