Some mornings I still feel like I'm dreaming
Am I awake or asleep?
I could crash my car into the side of the highway
Maybe then I'd see
I'm unsure of where i'm headed
But I know I'll be warm
Surrounded by dirt and the worms in the ground
Our cities will decompose
I thought I saw a cat run by
But it was just trash in the wind
I wanna talk to the mermaids in my dreams
But maybe I've sinned
