What Do You Know About Drowning?
We met under the bridge in embankment
To go for a suicide walk
Starring at the dark water
Was like starring in our minds
It's hard to talk about water
Without talking about oneself
As time goes by things get heavier
Even if most of our memories are happy
The sadness can drawn you
And take everything away from you
It deforms you
It changes you
To the point of not even remembering who you are
When you're so far out at sea
It takes time to rеach the shore
And put the piеces back together
We're not that young
But not that old
We can be shallow
But also deep as the ocean
We lived this year as ghosts
But we're going to be
What we said we were going to be
We have no other choice
Until there's air in our lungs instead of water
We know a lot about the sea
And it's dark waters
So we turn and ask others
What do you know about drowning?
