No Longer The Bees Knees
Given half a chance
I would run a mile - You're so vile
We are twice the size we were
But somehow when you smile - I crumble
We're no longer the bees knees
That's a matter of fact
But there's something these eyes see
Through the layers of fat
(I'm scared of what I'm looking at)
I was once a beanpole
And you were sweet and slender - so tender
Through the years we've both ballooned
And I doubt that it will end there - we simply don't care
We're no longer the bees knees
That's a matter of fact
But there's something these eyes see
Through the layers of fat
(I'm scared of what I'm looking at)
