The Sinking, Pt. 2
Starboard thereʼs a whirlpool weʼve got our hands full
Been sailing in this sinking ship far back as I recall
Fingers clutching to the rudder steer clear of reefs in this gutter
Fetid waters are pouring through the hull
One more storm can we still survive this
Captain point towards port can you find it?
Not quite sure how the light pierced through this
But Iʼm pretty sure heʼll manage to hide it
One seed struck fire in the hours of waste
Couldn't help but ask for purpose in another embrace
All entangled in the seaweed of a Qanon page
As time went away
We hear the sirens singing means weʼll be wailing
Any minute now just grab ahold and close your eyes
Iʼll hold your hand youʼre my brother, wonʼt let go for any matter
Unless youʼre sinking then you will die
One more nautical mile left of this
But the captainʼs abandoned the ship now
Took the light and he left us with this
And Iʼm pretty sure weʼre all going down now
One seed struck fire in the hours of waste
Couldn't help but ask for purpose in another embrace
All entangled in the seaweed of a Qanon page
When the letters turned to minutes as time went away
Couldn't see another being in the everglowing dark
There were starships and missiles parked alongside Noahs ark
Couldn't help but somehow noticing the light switch of the stars
Now weʼve finally reached the abyss
It feels safe itʼs like home when you find it
Not quite sure if thereʼs anything left
But Iʼm pretty sure youʼre not gonna like it
Could you ask for any more than this
Could you pluck out all your teeth
And then chew them up with the gums that's left inside your feeble beak
So just hold on to forgiveness
And let the waters all run dry
And pass that little flame of yours
That we all know must die
So that was it there were no hits just miss
Wonʼt be anyone left after this
