Night Is Calling
1585, Paris. Amid the fervor of the time, an unusual meeting is about to happen: On the one hand, john dowland, who posthumously became one of the renaissance music icons, and others, our dearest, giordano bruno. The meeting takes place in a humble tavern in the future dark dens "city of light". In the midst of his speeches involving cosmology, science, philosophy and hermeticism, giordano is approached by the composer of lute, that even as a young man, reveals to him a knowledge that would echo in the mind of the philosopher for years: The existence of a musical tuning that vibrates as the frequency of the universe and, therefore, appeals and transcends human ears. Tuning to be known centuries later as "verdi tuning"
The truth lies just among us now
That glass of wine could reveal the lies
It's shown not for the crowd for those that seek to find out the sun at night
It's revealed when you feel
And comprehends its shape
Of splendour in your mind
And expels the beast within it
The night is calling
To unleash my soul
The night is calling
The reason will free my bounds
The night is calling
From darkness we find the sun, oh oh
Night's gone
You say
That cow and I are the same
How dare you believe in such a thing?
The rider and the horse are bond by body, mind and spirit
The matter is the same in you, the pope and a pig
It may be there in anything
But ascension is in our hands
When we see it
When we know
It evolves to the begining
The night is calling
To unleash my soul
The night is calling
The reason will free my bounds
The night is calling
From darkness we find the sun, oh oh
Night's gone
So must be the same with vibing strings
So has said the lute composer
The night is calling
To unleash my soul
The night is calling
The reason will free my bounds
The night is calling
From darkness we find the sun, oh oh
Night's gone
