Beneath The Stone

The moon wavers above
The sand's blackened with blood
The lost sacrement’s dug from
Underneath of the mud
My past churning the earth
And moving up to the surface
Winding out of the dirt -
I can feel it emerging
Clawing out of the flesh in
Hands full of regret
They grasp at me with eyes
Red and screaming of death
Crawling out of the cracks
And circling to attack
And everything turns black so I turn back

Keep diggin' within myself
Must find myself, confine this hell in me
Keep diggin' beneath this stone
I dig this hole inside this soul in me

I pry open the book
The skies opened and shook
My eyes open and look
My mind brok and unhook
Cast me into the dark, stab me into the heart
Laughed and ripped me apart
Then put me back at the start
I fall into the cracks and fall into my past
The lone wolf I attack
The whole world at my back
I'm stabbing into source of
This incredible force
Into the nothing below I'm
Buried under the stone

Reaching down into myself I'm
Trying to break through
Reaching through searching within you
Reaching down beneath this stone
I finally break through
Reaching through closer into you
