Blood Raining Down on Her Wings

White as the snow
And with eyes that would glow
When she smiled the heavens opened wide
A light in the mist
Or the places we kissed
All was one
The beauty from inside
Till she died
But now the winds have turned
And her skin is now burned
But she never cries of pain
See the blood raining down on her wings
Black was the night
As they tore out her sight
As a testament
To how far down they fell
Yet she saved people´s souls
And their love filled all the holes
That they carved out with the bones of the believers
Tie them down
But now we come together
A force to be seen
As she sang away her pain

Now they sing of her in tears
So insincere
From her eyes comes the rain
Take me to the mountain
And push me off the edge
And see how fast I fly away
