18
Finally 18 and the whole world's Changing
Childhood is dead now it is what I Make it
Brought up in the burbs where There's cocaine and snake shit
But I still post up in the church
Went to hell and back but not Everybody made it
Back when I was writing lyrics in a Dirty basement
Now I'm at the studio tonight's Gonna be a late shift
But I'm more than down for the Work
Minnesota condos to the mile high
I done did some shit out here that Made my mom cry
It's a land locked state, but it's still Tough tides
I'm doing aye-okay but it's a rough Ride
And addictions heavy, tryna find Replacement
Shooting for the stars but it's the Moon I'm aiming
And family and friends that didn't Get this far
Hope you know when you were Here you were appreciated
I look back on all the things that I Had to face alone
Back when no one picked up if I Tried to ring their phone
Back at dark alleys I'm glad I didn't Take that road
And somehow, some way, still Found my way back home
Take me back to family dinner With the cousins
Cause now it seem like the whole World rushing
Tryna sleep but my phone keep Buzzing
Trying not to let my head go under Cause I'm
Finally 18 and the whole worlds Changing
Childhood is dead now it is what I Make it
Brought up in the burbs where There's cocaine and snake shit
But I still post up in the church
Went to hell and back but not Everybody made it
Back when I was writing lyrics in a Dirty basement
Now I'm at the studio tonight's Gonna be a late shift
But I'm more than down for the Work
Finally 18 and the whole worlds Changing
Childhood is dead now it is what I Make it
Brought up in the burbs where There's cocaine and snake shit
But I still post up in the church
Went to hell and back but not Everybody made it
Back when I was writing lyrics in a Dirty basement
Now I'm at the studio tonight's Gonna be a late shift
But I'm more than down for the Work
Back to the bullshit
