Little Man
Well I slip on my working boots,
Got a list of jobs to do, the next thing there’s a little mate with little boots on too,
With a come on dad let’s get to work, and his barrel full of sand, proud to head into the day,
His father’s right hand man.
Little men, growing up so fast.
Little men, wish I could make it last.
Little brother tags along, they workin’ up real sweat.
But it isn’t time for quitting, coz daddy we’re not finished yet.
They don’t see the short falls, and the things that I don’t have, its all about the dirt and work,
And being just like dad.
Little men, growing up so fast.
Little men, wish I could make it last.
The moon keeps spinning round the earth,
The earth spins round the sun,
And every night the stars come up and go out one by one.
Little men, growing up so fast.
Little men, wish I could make it last.
Little men, growing up so fast.
Little men, wish I could make it last.
