The Snake
[Verse 1]
Seeing all the children play
Having fun, he's in dismay
The children laughed in a wonderful array
But his brain went into disarray
[Verse 2]
Jumping and playing about
He wanted to just scream and shout
To let them know that he was here
But to them, he was invisible, he fears
[Chorus]
So he slithered into the playground
Went in the sandpit and started playing
The kids screamed and kicked him away
He ran away, wiping tears across his face
[Verse 3]
Making bonds and friends for life
They cut him deeper than a knife
Spectating them is pain, hе writhes in agony
"please somеone just notice me"
[Verse 4]
The serpent snake worked so hard
Shed off all his scales
Stood up tall, cut away his fangs
Maybe this time it will work
[Chorus]
So he slithered into the playground
Went in the trim trail and started playing
The kids yelled and threw him away
He ran away, wiping tears across his face
[Verse 5]
In a fit of rage, the fangs grew back
His scales harder than rocks
His eyes went red, his tongue slit
He travelled as fast as he could
[Verse 6]
In a wave of sadness, I stopped
I didn't want to do this
This wasn't the snake I wanted to be
But I couldn't help it
[Chorus]
So I slithered into the playground
Went in the ball court and started hissing
The kids screamed in fear
I bit their ankles, venom rushing up their leg
And I stayed in the playground
All of the kids were staring at me
I hissed and lunged
They ran away, wiping tears across their face
