Come Thee Light
Daniel Juline, Johanna Smitz
The light comes through the window
Making shadows in the roof
The birds sing outside
But I don't know how to fly
Counting the hours, counting the days
Time is all that I have now
Dreaming that I was somewhere else
Right next to you
Sometimes I pinch myself
Just know I am still here
Time stands still now
And I wave it goodby
All that I wanted, all that I long for
Right outside, beyond my reach
Wishing that I could grab it and go
But I lost my wings
Outside these four walls
Where life was supposed to be
I was supposed to live, suppose to live
Hold on to hope
Closing my eyes
And I can see me walking by
