A Dream Gone Wrong

How high a mountain must I climb ,
To reach for air ,
To breath the air so clear so pure ,
Could blow my mind ,
In my mind there is a place ,
For everyone for every taste ,
But in this life reality can shoot you dead ,
For the colour of your face ,
We can't run and hide as hard as we try ,
We can't all believe in the lord on high ,
Bur it's our love that stops us crying ,
We can't change the fact we are born to die ,
We can't all profess to know how or why ,
But keep on reaching don't stop trying ,
I've seen a poison river flow ,
A land where nothing grows ,
I've watching the man of fascist mind ,
Kill in the name of love ,
The futile war the human crime ,
The sacred scream just biding time ,
And who are we to take in vain ,
This precious world I'm full of shame ,
