Stepping Stone to Glory

Oh God I feel so worthless approaching your great throne
But there somebody on your right who told me I could come
He's your son and he assured me that you let me in
And if it wasn't for him dear lord I'd still be lost in sin

But his walk up Calvary hill became my stepping stone to glory
He carried the cross for me that I might walk upright
He gave his life, a sacrifice, the ransom for my freedom
Jesus pave the way home, so I can walk in light

Father god I praise you for Jesus saving grace
Without him I know I could never see you face-to-face

I once was blinded to the truth but he opened my eyes
He walked through the dark valley that I might see the light

And his walk up Calvary Hill became my stepping stone to glory
