When It Is Not Black Enough
Never you mind when
It’s not black enough when
There’s no enlightened destination
And shapes are burning in the midst
Of my reaction
When it’s neither part of
My established nature that I’m clashing
Clashing in this very moment
And still
You stick to your own vanity
No sting, no sign will ever change this
Your glories, your tested life
No, I’m not part of them
No, they will not depart
(Me, from this need / to get it in)
So many times we’re missing
So many times we dare
To destroy our feelings
So many times we needed
To die just for one day
And we came back fiercer
We cannot shine if
It’s not black enough
Turn off all the lights of settled waking
And our dreams revive
Into the pieces of broken memories
That used to be our back-life streaming
Before the Sun wore us away
It’s calling, calling us from where
Where there’s no light
But rather darkness
Visible to our eyes
From a black hole of life we’ll
Be together as one
