Tajge

Povratak je bolan jer pepeo sad traži
Stara iz sela nijemog pogleda na straži
Spališe joj kuću bolnom predstavom od straha
Ostala je živa, ali nije više majka

Nasmiješi se krišom i pusti dvije suze
Da putuju polako niz obraz stare ruže
Na livadi pred domom sjela je bez riječi
Izvadila pištolj i namjestila metak:

"Nije ovo strašno mila kao hladan vjetar
U srcu suhih grana gdje je zarobljena jeka"

Taiga

The return is painful
It's the ashes that she's looking for
The old peasant woman with a gaze on guard
They burned down her house during the terror show of fear
She remained alive but is no longer a mother

Quietly she smiles and lets two tears travel down her face
On the meadow she sat numb, right beside her home
Pulled the gun out and adjusted the bullet:

"This is not as terrible, dear, as a cold wind
Which blows in the middle of the dry branches
Where only the echo is trapped."
