Fade To:
Int. Frank’s Diner and Drive-In - Rochester Valley - Raining - Morning
After a lengthy conversation of last night's events, the things Marty could remember about his lover, and where he hopes to be with her, Melanie approaches the boys with their coffees
Melanie
Okay here you guys go, two coffees, oh it looks like it’s starting to rain
Melanie places the two white mugs full of hot coffee in front of each of the boys
Oliver
Thanks, you haven’t seen the girl I’m usually with, have you?
Melanie
Ooh, which girl? You bring a lot of girls here, especially to the drive-in
Oliver
Those girls and I are just friends, I’m a social guy, you know?
Melanie
You’re playing with fire kid, just be careful
Melanie walks away from the table
Oliver
Yeah whatever, look man, do you remember anything else from last night? Anything more about this mystery girl from first ave?
Begin flashback to the night before:

Int. House Party - Rochester Valley Suburbs - 1st Avenue - Evening
Marty sees the mysterious girl exit from the bathroom and they instantly lock eyes. She smiles and approaches him in a slow, seductive fashion, batting her eyes and pushing her blonde hair over her shoulder. Marty almost drops his solo cup when she begins to approach him
Mysterious girl, a 19-year-old girl, 5’6, straight blonde hair, elegantly touched with velvet red lipstick and expensive makeup, wearing a strapless red dress with an open back that doesn’t leave much to the imagination, and a pair of red high heels
Marty (V.O.)
I remember talking to her, taking some shots and she gave me a pill or something… she was in this red dress that matched her lipstick perfectly
The couple is sitting on a couch somewhere in the middle of the party. The mysterious girl is holding his hand and keeps leaning close to his left ear as the two discuss their favourite movies. The girl offers Marty a red pill from her purse, and he cracks a joke about the Matrix. Marty accepts the pill from the girl and they both chase their pill with the alcohol in their plastic cups
Marty (V.O.)
I remember ending up in the hot tub…I think… and we just talked… I don’t think either of us brought anything to swim in, so we improvised
Marty and the girl begin laughing and edging closer and closer to each other. After a few kisses to Marty’s neck, the girl grabs his hand and leads him into the bathroom she once came from. After the two kiss intensely against the bathroom counter, the mysterious girl opens the door and spots the backyard. The pair push past the sliding door to the backyard and stumble to the hot tub in the back corner of the yard. Along the way, Marty rips out a few roses from the garden and gifts them to the girl, bowing his head and presenting them as a surprise as if he bought them for the girl. The girl bursts into a wide smile and begins to kiss Marty all over his face and neck. The two strip down to their underwear and help each other into the pool of hot water and neon lights protruding from under the water. The two begin to make out and grind against each other
Marty (V.O.)
It was like Project X, but then on, total blur. Just a bunch of sounds and colours. I do remember running from the cops though
Sirens blare from the front of the house and flashes of red and blue lights illuminate the sky, scaring Marty and the girl. The couple gets roughly changed and runs into the house, still laughing and flirting. The two follow a large crowd as everyone runs out the backdoor of the party and towards the beach down the street
Marty (V.O.)
…We were with that group going to the beach but she grabbed my hand and we ran into the woods away from everyone. That’s probably how I ended up at the camp
Fade To:
Ext. Echo Creek Summer Camp - Rochester Valley - 5th Avenue - Evening
The couple run into the woods, dodging police spotlights and weaving between trees, hand in hand. The couple runs until they reach a sign stating, “Welcome to Echo Creek, since 1953”, in front of an abandoned summer camp. The moonlight illuminates the campgrounds as it leaks through the branches of the tall trees nestled around the grounds. The young couple spots a cabin in the distance and run inside of the structure to avoid the police, slamming the door behind them, knocking a sign with “cabin 9” painted on it to the ground
Marty (V.O.)
I woke up this morning to the sound of my phone ringing, it was her number. I didn’t answer in time but called back immediately, but she never picked up. I got up and saw the lipstick on my arm, and found this address in my phone
Marty awakens in a bed, alone. His hair is a mess, his neck is covered in hickeys and lipstick markings, and a bouquet of hand-picked roses lay on the bed next to him, in place of the girl he met the night before. He goes to answer his phone, but the person on the other end hangs up before he can answer. He notices the message on his arm and is puzzled by the request, and his location. Marty opens his Maps app on his phone and figures out his whereabouts, and that the last destination he searched for was for a place called “Frank’s Diner and Drive-In”
Marty (V.O.)
So, I walked back to 1st ave, got in my car and drove here
Marty drives his Jeep down the suburban streets, following his phone’s GPS as it leads him to 5th Avenue, and the diner. HHe looks down at the lipstick message before heading inside

Oliver
Wow, sounds like a wild night, kind of wish I met this girl too aha
Marty
Maybe that’s why she’s so mad at you, you’re trying to meet too many girls and “make friends”
Oliver
Well, it’s not like she isn’t friends with a lot of guys either. She knows people all over the world and everywhere we go, guys always think they have a shot with her. Plus, she likes to “test the waters” as she calls it. I saw her with a guy last night but I was too high to see who it was. She’s like every other girl you see on the internet, a little too much skin and not enough self confidence. As dumb as she is, there’s a few things she knows for sure: she know’s red is her colour, she knows diamonds go with everything, and she thinks all men are the same
