QuaranTEENS
Well, I will never forget, like most of us
How it felt, when we were first told to stay at home
And havin' to force ourselves, to adjust
To this brand new pandemic tomb
That March day we will always blame
Was the day that we became
The QuaranTEENS
Had to listen to our teachers in stupid zoom meetings
We QuaranTEENS
Had to find new ways to keep ourselves from goin' plain insane
Well not bein' able to see our friends was awful
So we met up and formed circles with our cars
Kept forgettin' masks when we left home
So we kept one hung from the rear-view
That March day we will always blame
Was the day that made
Us QuaranTEENS
Have to rush to the store to grab that last roll of TP
Us QuaranTEENS
Have to deal with our families for just about too long
Quarantine made and broke a lot of us
All that extra time was of good and bad use
Some of us formed with our families good trust
Others fell ill with the Quarantine blues
But no matter where you live in this world
I think it's safe to say
Us QuaranTEENS
We'll get out of this together and we won't be here forever
Us QuaranTEENS
Will have plenty of stories to tell our kids while they are younger
Nothin' can stop us
The QuaranTEENS
